For almost 40 years, CAJE has supported preschoolers, teens, adults, and seniors in the Colorado community, regardless of affiliation or observance level. Today, CAJE continues its variety of innovative and dynamic Jewish programming including:
Israel Study Tour (IST)
Since 1972, IST has sent more than 2000 students to Israel. One of the premiere Israel Study Tours in the U.S., IST is a community program sponsored by CAJE, the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, The Rocky Mountain Rabbinical Council and area synagogues. Unlike most teen trips to Israel, CAJE IST is one of the few trips that have as much focus on the pre- and post-trip experiences as it does during the weeks in Israel.
Hebrew High (Denver and Boulder)
With a vibrant new curriculum built on input from teens, parents and educators, students can choose from Arts & Torah tracks, retreats, travel, leadership opportunities, special events and more. This year, we introduced an incredible new teen program called CAJE Service Learning & Leadership builds the community leaders of tomorrow.
Florence Melton Adult Mini-School
Classes are taught by Rabbis and master educators in our community and are text-based, pluralistic and interactive for adults who never want to stop learning. World-renowned affordable, quality and comprehensive education to adults thirsty for meaningful answers from our rich heritage and traditions
Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Jewish ECE centers build Jewish identity, and quality child development programs for our youngest learners change children’s lives. Often, the first Jewish institutions to touch a child are Jewish ECE centers, and they are vital venues to instill Jewish experiences, traditions and values in young children and their families.
In partnership with Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado (AJF), Rose Community Foundation, and Denver/Boulder Jewish Early Childhood Education centers, CAJE is engaged in an intensive change process to improve and enhance Jewish Early Childhood Education in Colorado.
