Steve Brodsky and Mah Tovu to Perform at the 4th Annual Community Hanukkah
Concert

The Colorado Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE), Rose Medical Center, and
Outreach Roundtable will present "A Celebration of Lights," a Hanukkah
concert for families of all ages on Tuesday, December 7 from 6-7 pm at Cherry
Creek Shopping Center. This annual, free concert includes the ceremony for
lighting the Hanukkah candles and will feature the musical talents of Denver's
Steve Brodsky and his Jewish music group Mah Tovu. "We are pleased to offer
the community the opportunity to join together in song and to celebrate the
Festival of Lights," said Daniel W. Bennett, Executive Director of CAJE.
"This will be our fourth annual concert and marks a return to the Cherry
Creek Shopping Center."
Denverite Steve Brodsky is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, music educator
and Cantorial Soloist who has been leading and performing Jewish music in the
Denver/Boulder area for nearly twenty years. He writes and performs original,
contemporary Jewish music locally, nationally, and internationally, and
co-founded the Jewish rock and roll band Mah Tovu in 1992. Brodsky's
compositions have become popular in synagogues, Jewish camps and youth groups
across North America, and he has released several recordings, including 1998's
"On This Night," a collection of traditional and contemporary Hanukkah
songs.
The talented musicians who will join Steve Brodsky at the Celebration of
Lights at Cherry Creek include Denise Goldin DuBois, Shira Thompson, Jeff
Greenstein and Bruce Geller.
