On Sunday, June 11th, CAJE joined dozens of other community organizations and vendors to celebrate Jewish life in Boulder and Colorado. Hundreds of people came out to the festival, held on the Pearl Street Mall, to see old friends, find out new information, and be treated to wonderful food and entertainment.

The CAJE booth was a big hit with over 100 visitora throughout the day. Children both young and old came by to pick up a free frisbee that promoted youth groups and programs and adults came by to find out about the Melton Adult Mini-School, the CAJE library as well as to find out about programs for their kids. It was also a great day for the parents of IST 2000 participants as they had one more chance to ask questions about shopping, packing and traveling before the Israel Study Tour leaves next week.

Boulder Hebrew High Principal Jackie Sprinces Wong, Youth Program Coordinator Steve Glickman and Youth Outreach Coordinator Ira Miller met with lots of students and parents to let them know about the great programs that CAJE offers. At the end of the day drawings were held to award a $200 scholarship for IST 2001 as well as to give away coupons for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream! The day was a lot of fun and a huge success and people are already talking about an even bigger and better festival next June.
